Tilbury: Man Arrested for Impaired Driving

The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 133 calls for service in the last 24 hours.

Thirteen people were arrested. Two on an outstanding warrant.

Tilbury: Man Arrested for Impaired Driving

Around 10:00 p.m. last night police were responded to the area of Morris Road near Lee Avenue in Tilbury regarding a possible impaired driver.

Officers located the vehicle in Tilbury and through investigation believed the man was driving while under the influence of alcohol. The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters for breath tests.

Richard LEBOEUF, 55 years of Tilbury was charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He was released pending a future court date of March 1, 2022.

Chatham: Two Men Arrested for Break and Enter 

Shortly before 11:00 p.m. last night police were alerted to suspicious activity at a business on McGregor Place in Chatham. People were observed removing items from a business and transporting them to another location a short distance away.

Police attended and located two men and a woman. Police also recovered the property.

A 26-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested for break and enter, possession of property under $5000 and other outstanding charges. He was transported to police headquarters and held in custody pending a bail hearing. The second man, a 44-year-old Chatham man was arrested for break and enter and possession of property under $5000. He was released with a future court date of March 15, 2022. The woman was released unconditionally.

Wallaceburg: Woman Arrested for Breaching Conditions 

On January 23, 2022 the woman was released from a previous arrest with conditions.

On February 14, 2022 police conducted a traffic stop and though investigation learned the 45-year-old Wallaceburg woman was not abiding by her release conditions. She was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham: Woman Arrested for Theft 

Early yesterday afternoon police responded to a suspicious person complaint at a local business on Colborne Street, in Chatham.

Police attended and located the person inside the store.

The 37-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with theft, possession of stolen property under $5000 and breach of probation. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham: Three Women Arrested for Theft 

Early yesterday evening police were called to Superstore on St. Clair Street in Chatham for a theft investigation.

Police attended and learned the individuals had left the area. Security personal provided information that allowed police to locate the individuals a short time later.

A 50-year-old Dover Township woman, a 24-year-old Wallaceburg woman and a 32-year-old Wallaceburg woman were arrested with one count of theft and possession of stolen property under $5000. They were released with a future court date.
