The Region of Halton has unveiled its vaccine schedule for the rest of May, 2021. As previously announced it begins today with residents 50+ who are unable to work from home.
“Halton Region is pleased that we are able to offer appointments to more residents, including essential workers, as vaccine supply is expected to increase,” Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr said.
Residents are asked to book appointments online at one of six mass vaccination clinics. Halton recorded an increase of 132 new cases, with 43 coming from Milton. There are 104 confirmed cases of COVID19 in Halton area hospitals, and 31 cases are in Intensive Care units.
