Severe thunderstorms hit the Milton area last night. Several local residents posted images, and video of the weather on social media.

One Facebook user Saba Ali lives in the St. Laurent and Tremaine Rd area. She posted a video of a suspected landspout tornado. No confirmation yet from Environment Canada.
All of Halton Region is under a rainfall advisory today. There is a potential of 25-50 mm/ hr of rain in some areas. Environment Canada says localized flooding is possible.
