She was a full-time wife, mother, homemaker and the glue that held her family together. We’d watch in amazement as Mom would create a delicious meal for huge numbers at the drop of a hat. She welcomed friends and family to join us around our large table and there always seemed to be an extra mouth to feed. Our days at the cottage each summer were made memorable as she took on the role of event co-ordinator to keep her busy family occupied. Henriette enjoyed life and loved curling in winter and golfing in her morning league on spring and summer days. She had an infectious smile and enjoyed drawing smiles and laughter from others with her witty remarks.  Henriette was also a member of the CWL.  A special thank you to staff and residents at Hudson Manor where Henriette spent her last 17 years. Our appreciation is extended as well to the staff at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their compassionate care during Henriette’s last days.
