Mitchell’s Bay area resident Christine Burke and local geologist Keith Benn display some of the paperwork that’s part of the ongoing fight to get the Ontario government to test for heavy metals in black well water. Burke’s well has been spewing dirty water for more than a decade. She recently received a letter from Ontario Ombudsman Tom Baker stating the Ministry of Health is finished with the matter, and that’s not sitting well with worried residents.
