HRPS Releases Impaired Driving Offenses for July 10- 13

On July 10, 2020 just before 9:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Keith Close and Philip Street in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Bradley Smith (40) of Waterdown was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On July 10, 2020, just before 10:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Derry Road and Tremaine Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Jeffrey Provencher (51) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On July 10, 2020 just after 10:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of No. 17 Side Road and Sixth Line in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Zachary Brautigam (24) of Georgetown was charged with operation while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with demand.

On July 10, 2020 just before 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Fiddlers Way and Postmaster Drive in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Prudhvi Buddharaju (24) of Brampton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On July 10, 2020 just before 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Fiddlers Way and Postmaster Drive in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Ravjot Dhillon (19) of Brampton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On July 11, 2020, just before 4:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Third Line and Waters Edge Drive in Oakville.  As a result of an investigation, Adam Carroll (34) of Glanbrook was charged with operation while impaired.

On July 11, 2020 just after 7:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Britannia Road East and Sixth Line in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Gordon Brown (64) of Mississauga was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On July 12, 2020, just before 10:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Rexway Drive and Delrex Bouleverd in Georgetown. As a result of an investigation, Bryson Archibald (73) of Georgetown was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

On July 13, 2020, just after 2:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Walkers Line and North Service Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Stephen Sharpe (28) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
