Chatham-Kent reports its 35th death from COVID-19

So far, eight people have died from the virus-related infection in 2022

Another person in Chatham-Kent municipality has died of COVID-19 infection, Canadian health officials reported on Monday.

The deceased was a man in his 60s, who passed away at a hospital outside of Chatham-Kent. It is yet to be determined whether he was vaccinated against the virus.

Now there are a total of 35 deaths linked to COVID-19 since the pandemic started, according to The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit.

So far, eight people have died from the COVID-19 related complications in Chatham-Kent this year.

Meanwhile, public health officials reported 215 new cases on Monday.
