The Town of Milton has closed all of its facilities effective January 14, 2021. The announcement comes in response to the second lockdown beginning at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, lasting for 28 days.
The Town is encouraging residents to make online payments for services including property taxes, parking tickets and transit tickets and passes. Recreation will now be offered through registered virtual programs for residents to participate in from home. The community is being encouraged to stay active and healthy, but do so in your own household. For more information visit the Town of Milton’s COVID-19 web portal.
Halton Region recorded an increase of 92 cases of COVID19, 43 of which are in Milton. Of those, 17 cases were found in adults between 20-39 years old, while 11 were found in children between 0 and 19 years of age.
