Chatham-Kent is preparing to make history this spring with History Will Be Made, a one-of-a-kind community celebration set for Saturday, April 11, at the Chatham Armouries. The event will bring together 314 guests around what is anticipated to be the World’s Largest Dining Table, highlighting local agriculture, sustainability, and community generosity.

Rooted in the tradition of small family farms and the optimism of spring, the evening invites participants to share ideas, enjoy locally sourced food, and raise funds for Noelle’s Gift to Children. Guests will explore opportunities in micro-farming, local food production, and community-driven agricultural initiatives.

Doors open at 3 p.m. for agri-tourism experiences and social mingling, followed by a pasta buffet at 5 p.m. prepared by Club Lentina’s Catering, known for its authentic local flavors. At 7 p.m., the spotlight shifts to a FUNraising segment with live and silent auctions organized by United Country Great West and supported by Four Diamond Events. Proceeds will benefit Noelle’s Gift to Children, providing nutrition, clothing, school supplies, and emergency support for local kids.

The evening also promises door prizes, local entertainment, and a cash bar, ensuring a lively atmosphere of community connection. Seating is strictly limited to 314 guests, underscoring the exclusive nature of this record-setting event. Tickets are priced at $50 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, available at www.konyha.ca under the History Will Be Made tab.

This historic gathering offers more than a meal—it’s a celebration of Chatham-Kent’s agricultural heritage, community spirit, and commitment to giving back.
