Miracle on Main raised $275,000 despite the challenges of COVID19. The annual fundraiser organized by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) began in late November ended Christmas Eve.
They took the fundraiser completely online, encouraging monetary donations as well as gift cards. They partnered with the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS). “We are so immensely proud to partner with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation in such a meaningful campaign each year,” Deputy Chief Roger Wilkie said. HRPS has been working with TJSF since 2017. They offered residents a chance to cram a cruiser in support of the toy drive at several locations.
Approximately 40 businesses donated to this year’s campaign. “We laid the smackdown on COVID19,” TJSF President Tiger Jeet Singh Jr. said in a video on the foundation’s official twitter feed:

This year the campaign this year bought $30,000 in gift cards from local restaurants that were then donated to families in need. Another $30,000 was donated to schools for initiatives such as mental health, family wellness, and technology. “This would not have been possible without your love and support,” Singh said.
