On June 1, 2020, just after 9:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Thompson Road South and Laurier Avenue Street in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Michael Young (49) of Milton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On June 2, 2020, just after 5:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Guelph Line and Upper Middle Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, John McGowan (52) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On June 2, 2020, just after 10:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Caulder Drive and Lakeshore Road East in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Andre Dacosta (54) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On June 4, 2020 just before 10:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Campbellville Road and Guelph Junction Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Nicholas Ojkic (24) of Guelph was charged with operation while impaired.
On June 4, 2020, just before 11:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Dundas Street and Lions Valley Park Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Rashid Itma (21) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with demand.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
