Trustees at the Halton District School Board (HDSB) have announced a new Director of Education. Curtis Ennis will take over the position from Stuart Miller beginning August 1, 2021
“We are excited to welcome Curtis Ennis as the HDSB’s incoming Director. Curtis brings a wealth of knowledge gained through leadership roles in the education sector, Board Chair Andrea Grebenc said. The appointment was made following an extensive search, and consultation process.
Ennis has had a 22 year career in education including senior leadership positions at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). “I am grateful to the Trustees for their confidence in me and I look forward to leading and learning with the students, staff, families and community partners of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton, and Oakville in the years ahead,” Ennis said. Ennis holds a Bachelor of Business Management, and a Masters of Education. He will also be the Chief Executive Officer, and Secretary to the Board.
