Halton Healthcare is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Riccardo Trecroce to its Board of Directors.
Appointed in June 2020 at the Halton Healthcare Annual General Meeting, Mr. Trecroce replaces outgoing Board Director Chris Montague and joins the current board members in providing governance and oversight over the organization.
Mr. Trecroce is a senior lawyer and business leader. He recently retired as Executive Vice- President and Chief Legal Officer for Magna International Inc. He brings more than 30 years executive experience as counsel to executive teams and extensive experience in corporate governance, strategy and compliance. Mr. Trecroce has been recognized for providing clear and practical advice, leading effective negotiations and fostering an ethical corporate culture.
“Mr. Trecroce brings a wealth of knowledge of corporate governance and strategy. We look forward to benefiting from his participation at the Board level,” shares Board Chair, Richard Nunn.
Mr. Trecroce was selected following a comprehensive search conducted in early 2020 to fill the vacancy created by Chris Montague who completes his ten-year appointment to the Board.
“Chris joined Halton Healthcare in 2010. He is one of a handful of Directors who saw the construction of the organization’s trifecta of capital projects – the GH Emergency and Diagnostic Imaging Expansion, the New Oakville Hospital and the MDH Expansion Project – from start to finish,” continued Mr. Nunn. “He has held a number of roles including chair of the New Oakville Hospital Advisory Committee, has provided sound advice and great insight during his tenure.”
The Halton Healthcare Board of Directors is comprised of elected and appointed representatives from each of the communities served by the hospitals in Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills. These dedicated volunteers are supported by a strong Senior Leadership Team of professionals who together who direct the overall functioning of all three hospitals and their associated programs. Working together these individuals continue to deliver on our vision to transform the community hospital experience and provide exemplary patient experiences.
