Hockey and arenas have been a hot topic recently in Chatham-Kent following a controversial meeting between municipal officials and Ontario’s Hockey League commissioner Bryan Crawford. Last week, Mayor Darrin Canniff offered an apology to council and the community on social media in the wake of an online meeting between several members of council, the mayor and the commissioner. In order to keep everyone apprised of what’s happening, Crawford will address the matter Mar. 23 in open council.
