Cottam Rotary Club Sells Out of Christmas Trees

The Rotary Club of Cottam has sold all 200 Christmas trees, marking another successful year for its annual fundraising initiative.

The club extended heartfelt appreciation to the community for its continued support, highlighting the fundraiser’s role in supporting various local and international projects.

Proceeds from the Christmas tree sales will help fund programs such as the Cottam Scouts, Cottam Girl Guides, Kingsville District High School bursaries, Essex District High School Achievement Awards, and initiatives like Courage for Freedom and Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Additional beneficiaries include the Southwestern Ontario Gleaners, Essex and Kingsville food banks, Rotary Foundation programs, and recreational activities like Cottam Recreational Soccer, Cottam Hoops Basketball, and the Kingsville Pro Rodeo.

The Rotary Club of Cottam also contributes to broader efforts such as polio eradication, clean water projects, education support, and promoting community unity through events like the Fall Festival.

The club thanked residents for their continued generosity and emphasized its mission to bring together individuals across generations to create lasting change.
