2022 Budget Deliberations December 6

It’s budget season in the Town of Milton.  Council will meet December 6 to debate its 2022 operating budget.
The 2022 budget will focus on investment in the following six areas:

  • Customer Service
  • Community safety (fire services)
  • Modernization of services
  • Environmental and Financial sustainability
  • COVID-19 cost mitigation
  • Transit
  • Asset management

The proposed budget could add an additional $18.84/ $100,000 to a household tax bill when combined with the Region of Halton and Education rates.
Residents can get involved by :

  • Submitting comments to be considered in the budget process
  • Registering to speak:  Those wishing to speak in person have until December 2 at 10 a.m. to fill out the delegate request form.
  • Watching the meeting via webcast
