Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) have charged 5 with offenses related to impaired driving during the week of July 5.
- July 5: 50-year old Liliane Draetta, of Burlington charged with “operation while impaired” after a citizen-initiated complaint
- July 6: 43-year old Shannon Shinn, of Oakville was charged just before 1 p.m. with operation while impaired, as well as a blood alcohol concentration of 80 mgs or more within 2 hours following a citizen-initiated complaint
- July 7: 48-year old, Michael Boulanger, of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration of 80mgs or more within 2 hours after police conducted a traffic stop.
- July 8: 27-year old Kayla Rose of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired following a citizen initiated complaint
- July 8: 43-year old Mohit Sharma of Milton was charged with operation while impaired, and a blood alcohol of 80mgs or more within two hours also
The signs of an impaired driver are:
- Driving either too fast, slow, or consistent speed
